Tracking and Reporting activities related to HIV Self-Test Kits in OCHART

Note: OCHART reporting does not replace the specific requirements for any of the HIV self-test kits programs in which funded programs are participating (e.g., Community Link Get-A-Kit, etc.)

Organizations should track these activities using the OCHART Education, Outreach, and Community Development (EOCD) Tracking Tool.

Select the following when creating a tracking tool entry:

Activity Type = 1-on-1 education

  • For example, responding to questions, providing education, and/or information about using the HIV self-test kits. This can be bulk entered if the priority population (e.g., GBMSM) is the same for all instances of the education
select activity type

Goal = Promote sexual health and prevent new HIV, STI and Hepatitis C infections

select goal

Referrals = HIV/STI testing

  • The proxy for the number of referrals is the number of test kits distributed
